Arbitrage Stalker Extension — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-10
The Arbitrage Stalker browser extension shows real-time profitability, Amazon fee breakdowns, selling-eligibility, AI buy verdicts, and variation data on Amazon product pages. It is a companion to your Arbitrage Stalker account at https://app.arbitragestalker.com and only works while you are logged in. This policy explains exactly what the extension sends, what it stores, and what it never touches.
What the extension sends to our server
All calls go to our backend at https://app.arbitragestalker.com and are authenticated with your account token. When you open the overlay on an Amazon product page, the extension sends:
- The product's ASIN (the 10-character Amazon identifier in the page URL) so the server can return that product's Buy Box price, sales rank, category, fee estimate, selling-eligibility, and variation data.
- The product title, used only to build the optional "search on Google" link inside the overlay.
- Your account token, sent as a bearer credential on every request so the server knows the request is yours.
- Items you explicitly export. When you click "Export to List," the extension sends that product's ASIN, the buy cost you typed, and an optional source URL you paste, to save the item to a list in your account.
- AI requests you explicitly trigger. When you click "Get the AI Read" or ask the AI a question, the extension sends the ASIN, your question (for Ask), and publicly visible facts already shown on that Amazon page (title, brand, category, price, best sellers rank, star rating, review count, whether the buy box is sold by Amazon, and item weight) so the server can ground the AI verdict or answer for products not yet in our database. Nothing is sent to any AI provider directly from your browser; our server makes that call and never includes your name, email, or token in it.
What stays on your device
Your settings are stored in chrome.storage.sync: your Arbitrage Stalker account token, your backend URL, calculator defaults (fulfillment mode, default cost, USPS zone, inbound ship rate), and display preferences (which metrics and quick links to show). Because this uses Chrome's sync storage, Chrome may replicate it across the Chrome profiles you are signed into. This data is not sent to Arbitrage Stalker except for the account token described above.
Your Amazon Seller account
Linking your Amazon Seller account (which enables exact fees and restriction badges) happens on our website through Amazon's official authorization flow at https://app.arbitragestalker.com/auth/amazon. The extension never asks for, receives, or stores your Amazon Seller credentials or SP-API keys. It only reads back a yes/no "connected" status and your seller ID for display.
What we do NOT collect
- Your general browsing history. The extension only acts on Amazon product detail pages, and only sends the ASIN of pages where you actually open the overlay.
- Your Amazon login, password, or Amazon session cookies.
- Any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or telemetry. The extension contains no analytics SDKs.
- We never sell your data, and we never use it for anything beyond providing the product features described here.
Server logs
Like any web service, our server records standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested path) for security and abuse prevention.
Data retention & deletion
Exported list items and product lookups are tied to your Arbitrage Stalker account and are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete exported items in the app, and you can request full account data deletion at any time by emailing the address below.
