BuyBox Zones — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-22

BuyBox Zones is a Chrome extension for Amazon sellers that shows who owns the Buy Box across multiple US zip codes. We take a privacy-first approach: everything runs locally in your browser, with the single exception of license verification.

What we collect

License-key verification. When you activate the extension with your license key, and once every 24 hours thereafter, the extension sends the following to our license server at https://app.arbitragestalker.com/ext-api/verify:

What stays on your device

All scan results, zip templates, per-ASIN overrides, your seller name, and panel preferences are stored in chrome.storage (sync or local). This data never leaves your browser.

Amazon interactions

When you run a scan, the extension makes requests directly from your browser to Amazon's own endpoints (www.amazon.com/gp/delivery/ajax/address-change.html and www.amazon.com/gp/product/ajax/aodAjaxMain). These are the same endpoints Amazon's own UI uses when you change your delivery zip or click "See all buying options." The extension uses your existing Amazon session (cookies) but does not read, store, or transmit those cookies anywhere.

Data retention

License records are retained for the lifetime of the license plus 12 months after expiry or revocation for fraud-dispute purposes. You can request deletion at any time by emailing the support address below.

Third parties

BuyBox Zones does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or A/B-testing services. No data leaves your device except the license-verification call described above.
